Zurcaroh was clearly a fan favorite in the America’s Got Talent Season 13 Contest. Their mix of dancing and acrobatics wowed America and carried them through to the end of their iconic season. Here’s what this group is up to in 2022.

This 48-member group is still one of the most viral acts to ever be America’s Got Talent stage. They continued to impress after receiving the Golden Buzzer from Tyra Banks during their audition. To this day, they are still known as one of the most viral bands to ever hit America’s Got Talent stage. Here are six things you need to know about them.

On December 10, 2019, Zurcaroh took part in the Royal Variety Performance in London. During this performance, they were in the presence of Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. This annual show is held every year in the UK to raise funds for the Royal Variety Charity.

The show is family entertainment that includes comedy, music, dancing, magic, and other specialty acts. To put that into perspective, performing at the Royal Variety Performance is an honor that the winners of England has an incredible talent receive after winning the show.

4. This band was founded in Brazil

Zurcaroh was founded by Peterson da Cruz Hora in Brazil in 2007. In 2009, this group reformed in Austria and became the team AGT fans know and love. They performed all over the world before competing on AGT. Their first international performance was in Switzerland in 2011. While this performance was a huge highlight, another was the groups participation in the 2015 World Gymnaestrada in Finland.

5. They released a short film in 2020

Fans were sad to learn that Zurcaroh had declined the offer to join AGT: the champions in 2018. The acrobatic group went into decline due to the fact that their band members all had work and school commitments. In turn, they promised more exciting performances to come in the future.

In addition to their concerts, Zurcaroh recently made a short film titled The shelter. The film tells the story of a child who finds solace in sports and the arts during difficult times at home. This band’s performances always tell a story, so it’s no surprise that it translates so well to short film format.

6. They participated in the second edition of the World Gym for Life Challenge

Another performance highlight for Zurcaroh is his 2013 performance in the second World Gym for Life Challenge. This event is organized by Gymnastics Canada and takes place every four years. Their performance took place in Cape Town, South Africa. Anyone can participate in this showcase, regardless of age. It offers gymnastics and acrobatics, dance soloists and groups the opportunity to be judged internationally. I’m sad to say that their last performance seems to have been in 2020 at Spectacular France. The group has since posted on Instagram in 2021, but it doesn’t appear that they are currently rehearsing. Unfortunately, it looks like Zurcaroh is a band that’s been pretty hard hit during the coronavirus pandemic. We hope this group plans to perform again in the future.
